Reunions in foreign lands always carry a unique sense of warmth and magic.
Sheng-Wen and Yi-An were clients of mine back in Taiwan. As fate would have it, while they were traveling through Kyoto with their child, I happened to be working in Japan as well. Our paths crossed naturally in the historic city.
We met up on the quiet streets of Kyoto like old friends catching up after a long time—sharing updates and recounting life’s recent chapters. Seeing how their story had evolved from a couple into a beautiful family of three was deeply moving.
As we walked and talked, I picked up my camera to capture the unscripted, genuine beauty of their journey. There were no rigid setups—just the effortless comfort of old friends reuniting, framed by the gentle timelessness of Kyoto.
