In the comfort of their own home and surrounded by cherished memories, Ellie and Roh chose to celebrate their union with an intimate backyard wedding in Toronto.
This was my first time documenting a micro-wedding of this style. Free from grand productions and formal fuss, the day unfolded like an effortless family gathering. Loved ones casually chatted, shared laughter, and enjoyed meals under the open sky and gentle sunlight, creating an atmosphere of unscripted comfort.
While it wasn’t a large, lavish party, the sheer simplicity and authenticity of the day filled every corner with profound family warmth. Home was where their story lived, making it the most natural backdrop to begin their next chapter together.

在熟悉的家門口，在充滿生活記憶的後院裡，Ellie 與 Roh 選擇用最親密的方式，舉辦了這場專屬於他們的婚禮。
這也是我第一次拍攝這類型的精緻小型後院婚禮（Backyard Wedding）。沒有華麗龐大的排場與喧囂，大家就像平日聚會般，在草地上隨性地聊天、共餐、舉杯歡笑。綠蔭與微光灑落在家人的笑臉上，空氣裡流淌著無比自在且溫暖的氛圍。
也許這不是一場盛大喧鬧的宴會，但正是這種回歸本質的簡單與純粹，讓整個空間都填滿了濃濃的家人溫情。家，是他們愛情的起點，也是他們許下終生最安心的歸宿。
